myHouseby’s participation in the eleventh annual SXSW Pitch (formerly SXSW Accelerator) will take place March 9th from 3.30pm – 4.30pm in the Augmented and Virtual Reality category at the Hilton Austin Downtown in front of a live audience and panel of expert judges by myHouseby CEO and Co-Founder, Gregg Alvarez.
More than 800 companies around the globe applied to be selected to represent advancements in various sectors of emerging technology and only 50 interactive technology companies were chosen for SXSW Pitch 2019. myHouseby will be in the company of leaders at the forefront of augmented and virtual reality technology from around the world. Last year myHouseby became part of Capital Factory’s accelerator program, the center of gravity for entrepreneurs in Texas, to leverage support and resources in the startup ecosystem that drives investments, launches strategy and boosts growth. This opportunity allowed myHouseby to surround itself with a strong network of like-minded founders, mentors and investors who have built, scaled and sold startups themselves, much like those participating in the SXSW pitch competition.
Having companies like myHouseby as part of our in-house accelerator program is exactly the kind of startup we strive to attract and mentor,” said Gordon Daugherty, President at Austin’s Capital Factory startup accelerator. “We are excited to see them launch this month and quickly establish themselves as a leader in the new home construction immersive technology space.
